The TGL championship series culminated on Tuesday night with Atlanta Drive Golf Club facing off against New York Golf Club in the second match of the best-of-three finals for the inaugural TGL title.
Atlanta Drive GC entered the match with a 1-0 series lead after a narrow 6-5 victory over New York GC on Monday. In Tuesday`s game, Atlanta secured a comeback win, defeating New York 4-3 to complete the sweep and lift the SoFi Cup.
Representing Atlanta were Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay, and Justin Thomas, with Lucas Glover absent. New York`s team featured Xander Schauffele, Cameron Young, and Rickie Fowler, while Matt Fitzpatrick was not playing.

New York broke the deadlock in the triples portion of the match when Schauffele`s excellent first shot on Hole 7 positioned his team for a 1-0 lead. His ball landed within 5 feet of the hole.
Young Extends New York`s Advantage
NYGC built on their Hole 7 score by adding another point on Hole 8. Young`s near-perfect approach landed just 15 inches from the cup. New York then used a hammer to double the hole`s value, which Atlanta declined, awarding New York another point.
New York Establishes a 3-0 Lead
New York further widened their lead against Atlanta in the singles portion, with Schauffele defeating Thomas on Hole 10 and pushing New York ahead 3-0.
Horschel Takes Atlanta into the Lead on Hole 14
After gradually reducing New York`s lead in singles, Atlanta finally took the lead on Hole 14. Fowler`s first shot into the bunker opened the door for Atlanta to use the hammer. Horschel capitalized with an approximately 18-foot putt, giving Atlanta a 4-3 lead before they secured the championship on Hole 15.
