World No. 11 Paula Badosa has withdrawn from the Miami WTA 1000 tournament due to a back issue.
In the fourth round, the Spanish player was scheduled to face Alexandra Eala. The Filipina tennis player advanced to the quarterfinals without playing and will compete against either Iga Swiatek or Elina Svitolina.
Earlier in the tournament, Badosa defeated Victoria Mboko and Clara Tauson.
