The Chevron Championship marks the initial major competition of the LPGA season. The tournament this year commences on Thursday at The Club at Carlton Woods. Participants will be competing for an $8 million prize fund.
Nelly Korda, who claimed her second career major title at last year`s Chevron Championship, will aim to defend her championship and secure her first victory of the current season. Additionally, either In Gee Chun or Anna Nordqvist have the chance to achieve a career Grand Slam with a win at this event.
