Betting odds for U.S. Open and future golf majors: Scottie Scheffler favored across the board

Golf News

Scottie Scheffler holds two Masters titles and one PGA Championship, putting him halfway to achieving a career Grand Slam. Looking ahead to the U.S. Open and the next four major tournaments, Scheffler is currently listed as the betting favorite. Rory McIlroy is close behind in the odds. Bryson DeChambeau is the only other player with odds better than 10-to-1 for any of these upcoming majors.

The 2025 U.S. Open

The U.S. Open this year will be held from June 12-15 at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. This prestigious course is hosting the event for the tenth time. Bryson DeChambeau was the champion of the 2024 U.S. Open, which took place at Pinehurst No. 2.

The 2025 Open Championship

Also widely recognized as the British Open, The Open Championship is scheduled for July 17-20 at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland. Xander Schauffele secured the victory at the 2024 event held at Royal Troon.

The 2026 Masters

The Masters is unique among the four major championships as it`s consistently played at the same venue, Augusta National Club in Georgia. Next year`s tournament is set for April 9-12. Rory McIlroy earned his first green jacket by winning the event earlier this year (2025).

The 2026 PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler is expected to defend his 2025 PGA Championship title from May 14-17 in 2026. The tournament will take place at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
