World No. 12 Ben Shelton commented on his imminent debut in the ATP Top 10 rankings following his performance at the ATP 250 tournament in Stuttgart.
“It`s really cool. It`s a big step in tennis,” Shelton stated. He observed an interesting pattern regarding the Stuttgart event: “I think Stuttgart is a place where Americans break into the Top 10, because Frances Tiafoe did the same thing a couple of years ago, winning the title here. I`m excited about this week, I want to keep going and play on Sunday,” Shelton was quoted as saying by the official ATP website.
