The 2025 ESPY Awards, presented by Capital One, are scheduled for July 16th. You can participate by voting now to help decide which top athletes will receive the show`s major honors.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, recently winning the NBA championship and securing both regular-season and Finals MVP titles, is a candidate for further recognition. The Oklahoma City Thunder guard is nominated in two categories: Best Athlete (Men`s Sports) and Best NBA Player. The Thunder team itself is also nominated for Best Team, being one of nine candidates following their Game 7 victory against the Indiana Pacers.

Several nominees earned their ESPYS recognition for outstanding performances at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. Simone Biles and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone are candidates for Best Athlete (Women`s Sports). Ilona Maher is nominated for Best Breakthrough Athlete, and Ezra Frech is a candidate for Best Athlete with a Disability.

A`ja Wilson, who previously won Best Athlete (Women`s Sports) and Best WNBA Player awards in 2024, is again a leading nominee in both categories. Saquon Barkley is nominated in three different categories: Best Athlete (Men`s Sports), Best Play, and Best NFL Player. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the only other NFL player, besides Barkley, nominated in both the Best NFL Player and Best Athlete (Men`s Sports) categories.
